I had a mixed experience at the hotel. The rooms offered glimpses of the Swan River and were comfortably furnished, but the old-style decor, especially beside the bathroom, was a downside. Despite the air conditioning, it was a little hot even at the lowest temperature setting. I appreciated the bathtub in the room. The service was lacking as they were not helpful and even rude at times. However, the view from the room was good. The location was convenient for walking to the Perth Arena for a concert and exploring nearby restaurants and shopping malls. Although the designated smoking area was not ideal, the proximity to various attractions was a plus. The dining experience had its ups and downs with hot and tasty food but disappointing cold beans. The facilities were average, catering to basic needs at a fair price.

My stay at the hotel had its ups and downs. The rooms were really big but unfortunately located on the ground floor, resulting in extreme noise both nights. They were not as clean as expected, with stains everywhere, and quite different from the online pictures. The price could have gotten me a much nicer hotel nearby earlier in the week with breakfast included.
